Fortnite fans can rejoice as Chapter 2 Season 1 has finally come to a not-so-graceful end. Season 2 is here after months of anticipation and so far, it looks extremely promising. The Fortnite Season 2 map and new landmarks

As with any new Fortnite season, Epic Games has changed up the map quite significantly. We have multiple new landmarks, some of which were known thanks to the teasers preceding the new season. Although, the landmarks are just the start as Epic has altered the map more so than most previous seasons. Here’s a look at the official Season 2 map courtesy of @FortTory.

As you can see, there are quite a few changes, most notably with the new landmarks. While we don’t have an exact number yet, there are at least four to five new points of interest for players to explore. Data-miner FortTory has dug up a few screenshots of the landmarks that are new to Fortnite Chapter 2.

Epic Games has still placed an emphasis on the water for the new map, something that fans enjoyed from Season 1. However, they’ll need to keep altering the map like in Chapter 1 if they want to keep fans engaged for the entire life cycle of Season 2.
