If you’re looking to dive right into Ranked Play in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, then you’re going to need the proper class setups. If you haven’t been following along with the Call of Duty League this year, the Vaznev-9K is the current submachine gun of choice for all professional and competitive players. While it was nerfed in Season 2, the Vaznev-9K still has the best Ranked Play loadout among all SMGs in MW2.
However, when you go to create your loadout for the Vaznev-9K in Ranked Play, you might notice some attachments are missing. This is because they are banned, as per the CDL ruleset. So if you need to change up your normal Vaznev loadout, we have you covered. Below, you can find the exact loadout that all professional players use for the Vaznev-9K.
Ranked Play loadout for the Vaznev-9K in MW2
The Vaznev’s competitive loadout has changed over the past couple of months, but now it’s at a place where all pros agree on the attachment choices. There is some variation in the muzzle selection for the Vaznev, but generally, there’s one or two muzzles that all players should be using in Ranked Play.
- Muzzle: Bruen Pendulum
- Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90
- Stock: Oztrezat Stock
- Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip

It’s a simple loadout, but one that really makes the Vaznev into a solid all-around weapon. The Bruen Pendulum muzzle reduces both horizontal and vertical recoil while the FSS Sharkfin 90 adds aiming stability. The Oztrezat Stock and True-Tac Grip both improve sprint-to-fire speed and aim down sights time for all of your close-range engagement needs.
You can tune these attachments how you see fit, but professionals don’t generally tune their weapons. We would recommend going with a mix of mobility and recoil control if you are going to tune, however.
