The best Krig 6 loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3

A new weapon enters the Warzone Season 3 meta
This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information

Since Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone, the Krig 6 has become a polarizing weapon that most players can’t seem to figure out. The assault rifle was buffed with the new season’s weapon tuning update, but there’s a debate over whether it belongs in the meta or not. Some say that it shoots marshmallows and isn’t worth it over the AK-47 or CR-56 AMAX. However, another crowd swears by the weapon.

Ultimately, the Krig 6 is a solid weapon that will serve most players well in Warzone. A certain loadout exists that makes the case for the Krig entering and staying in the meta for the duration of Season 3.

The Krig 6 buffs of Season 3 came in the form of increases to damage multipliers. The head, neck, upper and lower torso damage multiplies were all increased, meaning that it takes fewer shots to kill. While not a giant buff, it does make the Krig 6 more powerful in Warzone.

This buff led to some players using the rifle to try and replace the FFAR or find their new meta weapon. Upon using it, however, the results were mixed among the player base. These players may find it interesting to note, though, that they may not have been using the weapon’s top loadout.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 19.7″ Ranger
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: STANAG 60 RND

It’s safe to say that this loadout isn’t great at close-range. There are no attachments to help with ADS or sprint-to-fire time, meaning that SMGs will get the jump on any player running this loadout. However, that’s not the overall goal for this Krig 6.

The Krig’s goal is to increase damage and make it one of Warzone’s top medium-range weapons. The Agency Suppressor and Field Agent Grip help this cause by reducing recoil. The 19.7″ Ranger increases the Krig’s bullet velocity greatly, meaning the bullets get to their destination quicker. Some players might not agree with this barrel, as it doesn’t increase damage or range, but it’s professionally approved by streamers like Nick “Nickmercs” Kolcheff.

Finishing up the loadout is the Axial Arms 3x scope and the STANAG 60 RND ammunition; both fairly standard attachments on assault rifles in Warzone.
