Craft the best Kastov 762

There are currently nine usable assault rifles in Call of Duty: Warzone 2, and almost all of them are viable in some shape or fashion. The outlier is the M16, which is in the running for the worst overall weapon in the game. Aside from the M16, though, the other assault rifles are balanced quite well. Of course, there are still ARs that are better than others. The Kastov 762 falls into the “better” category, as it has a dominant loadout in Warzone 2.

The Kastov 762 is a fantastic gun in Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer and that has translated over to Warzone 2, at least in Season 1. This AR has virtually no recoil when kitted out with the right attachments and a high damage range. Those stats are paired with a decent fire rate and mobility to make for a solid AR. However, we can make the Kastov 762 even stronger once it’s equipped with its best set of attachments.

Since the Kastov 762 is more of a long-range rifle, we’ll be focusing on stats that boost its damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control. Mobility will take a hit with these attachments, but players can simply equip a secondary SMG to use in close-range gunfights.

  • Muzzle: Polarfire-S
  • Barrel: KAS-10 584MM Barrel
  • Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic
  • Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip
  • Magazine: 40-Round Mag

The loadout begins with the Polarfire-S muzzle and KAS-10 584mm Barrel. Both of these attachments increase damage range, recoil control, and bullet velocity. The Polarfire-S is also a suppressor, so players are kept off of the radar when firing.

Next, the VLK 4.0x optic is our sight of choice thanks to its superior mid-range zoom. We finish the loadout with the Demo-X2 Grip to increase recoil control further and the 40-Round Mag to give players an extra 10 bullets in each clip.
