Tekken 8 leak may have revealed first DLC characters

Roger the Kangaroo... Really?

Another leak has hit Tekken 8. This time, the first season of DLC characters has been revealed.

Bandai Namco has been hyping up the arrival of Tekken 8, revealing character trailers and other exciting content for the fighting game community. But that hasn’t stopped some gamers from finding out even more on their own, including the possible characters we will see in the first DLC package.

According to a leaker on Reddit, the leak was the fault of the German PSN Store, which allegedly accidentally shared the names of the characters in the first season pass before taking it down.

Who are the first DLC characters in Tekken 8?

Bandai Namco has not shared who the first DLC characters will be, but if the leakers are to be believed, these are the characters that will be in the first DLC bundle:

  • Roger the Kangaroo
  • Eddy Gordo
  • Armor King
  • Xiao Meng

Xiao Meng is not a returning character, meaning a new character will possibly be part of the first season of DLC content. Not much is known about this character except that it’s an Asian male, maybe with glasses.

While this leak could be entirely false, it seems like the timing lines up. Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada is going to be attending The Game Awards, where he might reveal the first season of DLC himself. That could be why the German PSN Store accidentally shared this content a little bit early. But Roger Kangaroo being part of the package has some people suspicious.
