Teamfight Tactics patch 10.4 is now live. This update of Teamfight Tactics includes changes to several of the popular champions and introduces the reworked Glacial trait. Besides this, three of the tier 5 champions got changed drastically.

The rework of the Glacial trait

One of the critical changes in this update is to how the Glacial trait works. Previously, the Glacial trait had a 20-50% chance to stun upon attacking an enemy champion. With this update, however, Glacial has a flat 25% chance to stun. To make up for the reduction in this chance, however, is the introduction of a 75-350 bonus Magic damage. This effect has no cooldown and is applied each time an enemy is stunned by a Glacial champion.

Changes to tier 5 champions in Teamfight Tactics

Three of the tier 5 champions in Teamfight Tactics are changed this update. Singed receives a significant increase in damage in his rank one form, from 150 to 225 damage per tick. Singed’s rank two and three forms stay unaffected.

Taric, on the other hand, loses 0.5 seconds of invulnerability duration on both his rank one and two forms. In return for this reduction, the duration is increased from 5 to 8 seconds at rank three, if you ever manage to achieve this.

The other tier 5 champion that got buffed this patch is Zed, who has his attack speed increased from 1.00 to 1.10 attacks per second.

Essential changes to Olaf and Lucian in Teamfight Tactics patch 10.4

Two of the other champions receiving game-changing buffs this update are Lucian and Olaf. Olaf gets a buff of 100 starting health and an additional 25% attack speed bonus on his ability in this patch. Besides this, Olaf’s ability has also been bug-fixed to cleanse slowdown effects while the ability is activated properly.

Lucian, on the other hand, sees his Spell Attack Damage ratio buffed again after a previous nerf. His new ratio is 0.5 times the ability items he gains from items & traits, rather than the 0.3 to 0.5 scale from the last update.
