Team Liquid partnership

“Team Liquid is the most viewed esports organization within the previous three years. The organization has become a leader due to the successful performance of its teams in the most popular esports disciplines, such as League of Legends, Dota 2 and CS:GO,” said Artyom Odintsov, CEO of Esports Charts, in a release. “At the same time, Team Liquid’s players from other disciplines contribute to the organization’s popularity growth throughout the world, primarily in South America and Asia.”

In this partnership, Esports Charts will provide analysis on competitor teams. Other information like statistics on audience preferences and streaming growth trends will also be provided. This news comes after the team joined forces with market intelligence firm Newzoo as its strategic data partner last year, along with software and technology solution company SAP for competitive data analysis.

Analysis by Esports Charts

“Team Liquid’s partnership with Esports Charts will ensure that we have regular analytical reports on esports viewership. Understanding the prevailing trends in the industry will allow us to make informed decisions that keep us ahead of the pack,” said Victor Goossens, co-CEO of Team Liquid. “The information they provide will be used on work such as assessing potential new regions to tracking growth over time.”

Team Liquid enters 2020 with a dominant League of Legends roster and a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team currently ranked #3 in the world. However, the former’s dominance has only gone as far as the North American League of Legends Championship Series, with much room to improve in the international scene. This partnership may be leveraged to grow the organization’s content viewership and its team performance as well.
