There has been no information as of yet as to what the Smash Bros Direct will contain, but we will most likely see more info on Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee. Announced in an official tweet from Nintendo, you’ll be able to see the Direct on the Nintendo Twitch channel, which you can check out just below.

This news comes hot off the heels of the recent Smash Bros Ultimate final roster leak. For those who don’t remember the rumored characters were; Shadow (from the Sonic franchise), Banjo-Kazooie (of the eponymous series), Isaac (Golden Sun), Ken Masters (Street Fighter), Mach Rider (of an eponymous NES title), Geno (Super Mario RPG),  and the Chorus Kids (Rhythm Heaven).

Many suspect that this direct may be Nintendo getting in front of these rumors in case they turn out to be true. Naturally hype for this direct is high, especially considering it is the last one before release. Whether or not the rumors are true, after this direct we will most likely know the final roster. Here are some reactions from the Twittersphere about the impending direct.

Since the Smash Bros. community has been torn by the latest rumors, some are going to be proven right and some are going to be proven wrong. One thing is for sure though. Regardless of who is confirmed, who is proven false, who is right, and who is wrong, one thing, one person better be there at the end of the direct. One tall, mustachioed, man whose injustice is demanding to be rectified by the people! By the end of the direct, there is only one word we should be chanting in unison. Not Banjo, not Shadow, not even Ken Masters. The word we should be chanting is… “WAH”.
