Starfield: How to get Chambass Oil

If you have attempted to try and brew your own Aurora in Starfield, then you have almost certainly required some Chambass Oil at some point or another. This common crafting item is a vital ingredient in the recipe for Aurora, and it can be difficult to track down in the Settled Systems.

You only need a single vial of Chambass Oil to make a single batch of Aurora, but that is still enough to make players wonder how to get the ingredient. Finding Chambass Oil in Starfield

Unlike other resources in Starfield, such as minerals, you are not able to easily acquire Chambass Oil yourself. Instead, you will have to rely on vendors to keep your Aurora production going.

From what I have experienced, most general traders in major cities will stock some Chambass Oil in the “Resources” tab of their inventory. However, specialized vendors will usually not carry the crafting item, so you want to ensure you’re going to general traders.
