What is Enhance Pointer Precision?
Enhanced pointer precision, or mouse acceleration, adjusts the sensitivity of the mouse based on the rate at which the mouse is physically moved. It calculates the speed of the mouse and changes the DPI based on the current speed. The feature comes with your Windows OS and is enabled by default.

To turn off the enhance pointer precision, you can simply do this from the control panel with the following steps:
- Press the Windows key + R.
- Type “control” and press Enter.
- Open the Mouse settings from the items.
- Move to the Pointer Options, the third tab on the Mouse properties
- Uncheck the mark for the enhance pointer precision and click OK.
