Shadowverse loves crossing over with other franchises and anime series. From Fate/stay night to One Punch Man to GranBlue Fantasy, the online card game features characters as leaders or on special promo cards frequently. A brand new crossover begins soon, featuring the popular anime Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World.

The Re:Zero event will start on June 26 for players. Brand new leaders, special alternate art promo cards, and event bonuses will all be available. Based on the past few crossovers, there will likely be three new leaders and promo cards each. There’s a lot of guessing going on about which characters will be chosen to be leaders. Natsuki Subaru and Emilia are definitely two of the leaders. As for the last remaining one, it’s most likely Rem, Betelgeuse, or Felix Argyle. There’s also a possibility the event will be more like the past Fate/stay night events we’ve had before. If that’s the case, we may get five or six new leaders and promo cards.
As for which promo cards we’ll get, that remains to be seen. Promo cards are generally silver or bronze (or in some cases gold) in rarity and feature the same characters that are leaders in the event. The cards will also be in the same class as the leader. Emilia is likely going to be a Havencraft leader, so it’s a possibility Purging Light could be her promo card. Subaru is most likely going to be a new Swordcraft leader, so Dualblade Flurry would be a likely card. Or, if they wanted to be on theme, Chromatic Duel featuring art of Rem and Ram would be especially cool.
