Securement Silo PSI walkthrough – Once Human

Securement Silo PSI has a pretty challenging boss fight, mostly because of the randomly unfreezing enemies — many of which have stun attacks. The boss also has a powerful attack that can down you in a single hit if you’re not careful.

Where is Securement Silo PSI?

Securement Silo PSI is in Red Sands (2514,-2616). It has no nearby settlements, with the closest being Fort Eyrie, but there is a nearby teleportation tower which is quite useful. You can teleport there and follow the road all the way to Securement Silo PSI.

What can you get in Securement Silo PSI?

Securement Silo PSI drops Legendary Pants mods, with more mods dropping on higher difficulties. You’ll also get stardust source, energy links, armor mod parts, and anything you find inside crates as you go. There’s also some materials to pick up inside.

How to clear Securement Silo PSI

As you spawn in, you can jump off the platform on the right-hand side and glide down. You’ll see the pathway to follow from there. Head down it and you’ll see some enemies. There’s a container and some materials at the counter on your right-hand side, plus a few more enemies just after it – watch out for the Snipers.

Keep going and you’ll enter a room full of enemies. There are also snipers on the other side, and three more enemies will spawn in during the fight. There’s a storage crate in this room along with some lootable containers, and in the far right-hand corner of the room there’s a doorway leading to some more containers.

You’ll also see the storage crate in the above screenshot that’s on the upper floor from here. That’s where you get the V3 Rosetta Access Card that’s required to progress. There’s also another storage crate up there.

Head for the doorway and use the control panel to go through. The next part is simple. Just make your way down and take out the enemies – but here you path diverges. When you get to the enemies, take them all out but don’t head down the stairs yet.

You’ll want to collect what you can here, and then make your way across the water to the platforms visible on the right. There are a couple of snipers up there, plus a storage chest and some materials. Be careful though, attacking the snipers will alert some enemies down below as well.

I usually just take out all the enemies from above before I cross the water and go to those platforms, but find what works best for you. (Taking them out with a shotgun from there might not be wise, for example!)

Drop down and grab some more materials and lootable containers before you carry on. You’ll run past some blue walls and then enter a large room. There are plenty of enemies in here, and also a fair amount of loot, so take your time exploring it.

There are no real threats on Normal and Hard, but I’m pretty sure a Rosetta Engineer spawns here on Pro, so be wary of his exploding drone. When you’ve defeated all the enemies, the doorway you’re looking for is on the far side to the left.

Loot the room and head through. You’ll notice a doorway on your left and right. Through the open doorway to your left is usually an elite enemy along with some more crates to loot (including a gear crate). So do that first, and then head to the room on the right-hand side (you’ll have to open it with the yellow control panel).

Take a right turn here and navigate the lasers to find another gear crate, then head back down and go the other way. You’ll need to navigate some more lasers, and then it’s time to face the boss — a giant fridge.

How to beat the Securement Silo PSI boss easily

I’ll start with some tips for you. Kind of like a TL:DR. Firstly, never stop moving. Using ADS (aim down sight) is not the best idea in this fight. This boss has an area of effect (AOE) attack that floors me in one hit on Hard, so you’ll want to avoid those!

Next, destroy the walls protecting the generators with the Ice Spikes lying around (it sometimes takes two ice spikes to destroy a wall). If you can’t find any (which has happened to me!), stand by the wall and wait for the boss to attack you. His ice attacks take down the wall just as effectively.

Finally, Shoot the front top half of the fridge. Hitting it from any other angle just doesn’t do much damage.

Right, with that out of the way, here’s how I tackle this fight, step-by-step. First, as you enter the chamber you’ll notice a platform on your right. I like to engage the boss from up there first.

From here, there are two guards on the ground and to your left. As soon as you attack the boss, they’re going to wake up and be really annoying, so I like to take them out ASAP.

When the boss first gains immunity, the two guards around you will unfreeze. Take them out, and then the active generator will be on your right. Take out the wall with ice spikes, then just shoot at the generator to destroy it.

From here I head to the previous platform, up the stairs again to the very top, where a sniper will have woken up. Take him out and you can engage the boss some more from here if you want. When he gains immunity, the other snipers should wake up and you can take them out so they don’t annoy you.

There will also be an elite that wakes up at this stage, so glide down and take him out, plus any other enemies you see. They can be seriously annoying, especially the grenadiers. Remember to keep moving at all times!

The generator you’re looking for will be on the left-hand side of the battlefield.

Take it out and head back to face the boss from the front. At this point, I usually just stay on the ground, but if you do this it’s especially important to keep moving here. I’ve been one-hit so many times!

The final generator will be directly behind the boss. So run around, take out the enemies and the generator, and head back to finish off the boss. And that’s all there is to it!

If you’re speed-farming, you can try to focus on the boss first and leave the other enemies alone, but with the grenades and sniper fire stunning me all the time, I do it as explained above. Much easier for me!

Good luck!
