Securement Silo Alpha will be pretty tough on the first run, but once you have good gear, it’s one of the easiest. There is a secret boss as well as the main boss, and this guide will walk you through the whole dungeon, so you don’t miss anything.
Let’s get cracking.
Where is Securement Silo Alpha?
Securement Silo Alpha can be found in the Chalk Peak area (189,-3603). It’s right near the Alpha Institute, close to a teleportation tower, making it very easy to get to if you have the tower unlocked. Simply teleport to it and just drive down the road.
What can you get in Securement Silo Alpha?
Clearing Securement Silo Alpha will net you Legendary Helmet mods, even on Normal — but you’ll get more on the harder difficulties. You’ll also get the usual stuff: Stardust source, Energy links, Armor mod parts, and anything the crates inside may hold.
How to clear Securement Silo Alpha
When you spawn in, there’s only one way to go. Run to the end of the first area and jump down the big hole. Don’t forget to glide! 🙂
There’s a Storage crate at the bottom which you can pick up. Move on and up the stairs where you’ll meet a few enemies and get some materials. There’s still only one way to go, so nothing complicated here.
In the next room you’ll meet a Rosetta Mechanic, so be on your guard. There’s also plenty of materials and containers in this room, so be sure to look around with Space Time. Head up more stairs after collecting another storage crate and some materials, and you’ll find more enemies and another storage crate.
As you head down the hallway here, there’s a door to your left. Remember that door and go straight.
If you’re playing on Hard or Pro mode, you’ll need to navigate some lasers. I just dive-roll when I see a gap, to be safe. If you’re playing with a team, remember to de-activate the lasers by the yellow box on the other side, it’ll make your trip back so much smoother.
The next room will have several guards and an Elite enemy. Take care of them, grab the storage chests, and make sure you loot the Elite Enemy, since he has the V3 Access card you’ll need to progress.
There’s also a door on the lower level here that leads to a weapon crate and some other materials and containers.
It’s time to head back to that door we saw earlier. Open it with the control pad and enter. There are several enemies in this room, plus a few snipers up above. Once you’ve taken care of them, loot the room and then go up the stairs to find another storage crate or two (where the snipers were).
Run across the beams and along the pipeline to get to two storage chests up above.
The Secret Boss location at Securement Silo Alpha
Once you reach the storage crate at the back (the second one) jump down and you’ll be facing large double doors. There should be a doorway behind you. Go through it to find another door with two guards. Take them out and go through the doors.
There’s a gear crate and some storage crates. After you’ve collected them, head through the seepage zone and you’ll find the room with the secret boss. There are a few enemies here, but nothing to worry about.
To reveal the boss, you’ll have to activate all the power equipment, which are these blue generators. If you have any trouble finding them, simply follow the chords from the main stage. To activate the generators, simply hit them with a stun baton.
As you enter the room, there are two of these generators to your right, one straight ahead, one to the left, and one behind the stage. Once you’ve activated them, a Glutton will appear, but he’s pretty easy to deal with by now, right?
There are plenty of storage crates and materials in this room, so do a scan with Space Time for sure.
Facing the boss at Securement Silo Alpha
The boss here is pretty straight forward. Leave the seepage zone and go back to the double doors we saw earlier. Use the keypad to open them, head up the stairs and into the next room. Take out the enemies and the boss (simply burst him down), and you’re home free.
That’s all there is to it. It’s a pretty easy Silo to run, and the rewards are quite nice. Time for the next challenge, wouldn’t you say? Check out my guide on how to clear Securement Silo PSI when you’re ready.
If you have any trouble here, I have a full guide on the Shrapnel Build that’ll make you more powerful in Once Human.
