Rippelby Exploration Guide — Once Human

It’s time for yet another exploration. This time, we’re heading to Rippelby, which is occupied by a bunch of Vulture members, so be ready for a fight where enemies have guns. It’s not a tough exploration, so you should be okay.

Just bring plenty of bullets, and lets discover where all the crates are at Rippelby in Once Human.

Where to enter Rippelby

We’re entering from the South of Rippelby, from the road. There are some quests here, but the one quest is bugged, so I couldn’t do much there. The other quest is just outside of Rippelby to the south, but it’s up to you if you want to take it.

Of course, you can enter Rippelby from any side, I just chose from the south because it seemed the most logical from where my house is. Now, let’s check all those crate locations.

Initial exploration at Rippelby in Once Human

Firstly, the houses to the south of Rippelby don’t contain much. There are a couple of storage crates and some materials if you need them. We’re moving on to the next section. We re-enter Rippelby from the east, and the first section on the left (with the tipper trucks and pickup trucks) only contains enemies and materials – no chests.

The buildings across from this parking lot have some materials, and the building on the left has a storage chest inside. Just after these buildings we’ll find a small power plant installation, where we can find another storage chest.

The garage to the north of this contains another storage chest. There are plenty more storage chests as we go, but where are the weapon and armor crates at Rippelby?

Weapon Crate at Rippelby

The first gear crate we’ll find is in the big blue shipping warehouse near the northern edge of the docks. There’s a ship inside, which we’ll have to enter by going up the ladders while fighting off any enemies we encounter.

The weapon crate we’re looking for is in the bridge (the “top floor”) of the ship.

Once we have the weapon crate, it’s time to grab the Mystical Crate.

Where is the Mystical Crate at Rippelby in Once Human?

From the ship inside of the large blue dryrock near the northern edge of Rippelby, we’re going to keep climbing up. Once we get to the very top of this rickety building (would you climb up there in real life?), we’ll find the Mystical Crate sitting on top of a shipping container.

To get to it, simply jump up onto the first container near you, and then run over and grab it. There was also a Voodoo Doll Pal Pokemon Deviation nearby for me, so check if you can see it (be sure to hit Q if you can’t).

More weapon and armor crates at Rippelby

If we look to the south from the Mystical crate, we’ll see another gear crate. Simply jump off and glide over to it. Don’t miss, or you’ll have to climb the tower again.

From this tower, we can see yet another gear crate down below and to the south. Be careful of the enemies below, but you can pretty much just glide down and grab it.

To the north of this, there’s another warehouse beside the large drydock building with the ship inside. In this warehouse, you’ll find another Weapons crate on the upper walkway.

Behind these buildings to the east is a dock which contains nothing of value, so it’s not worth exploring. Head towards the Rift Anchor now, and pick up a few storage crates along the way if you’d like.

The building right beside the Rift Anchor has an additional Gear Crate inside if you want. This is also where the bugged quest location is (I think). There’s this Vulture Misc Pile on the floor but no matter how many times I interact with it, it simply won’t do anything.

And that’s it, we’re all done at Rippelby’s. Make sure to activate the Rift Anchor and Iron River is officially ours! Well done. All that’s left now is the Monolith, so check out my Mirage Monolith Exploration guide if you need any help there.
