Riot reveals in-game VALORANT rewards for Pride Month

This event includes a free Pride Bundle that includes player cards and a gun buddy

Riot Games has revealed a variety of in-game items to celebrate Pride Month throughout June. Players can receive a bundle for free from Wednesday until June 20 that includes items like the eight player cards and a gun buddy that can represent their identities in game.

“We want all players to feel their identities are represented. No matter where you live, who you are, or who you love, we want to make sure you can see yourselves while you play,” Riot said in a blog post. “Our champions and agents have their own identities which are representative of our globally diverse player base.”

This is the second Pride event for VALORANT. The “SHOW YOUR PRIDE IN VALORANT” event, which took place June 6th, 2021, introduced seven player cards and the titles “Proud” and “Ally.”

Since 2018, Riot has supported the Pride community with in-game rewards, with Rainbow Fluft being the first of them. Between now and then, they have continued to hold more events and add more and more emotes and artwork to their games that allow players to represent themselves.

Players can check out the VALORANT website to find more details about the changes coming to the game. For the changes to other Riot Games games such as League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra, check out the League of Legends website.

This is also not the end of what Riot has planned for Pride Month celebrations, as the studio said players will see “fan art, new stories, and plenty more throughout the month.”
