According to a report from Dot Esports, TSM are in the process of signing Johann “seven” Hernandez and Anthony “gMd” Guimond to finalize their roster. After the departures of Matthew “Wardell” Yu and Aleko “Aleko” Gabuniya moving to the inactive roster, TSM are making changes to compete in the second stage of the 2022 VALORANT Champions Tour.

Seven and gMd joining TSM soon

Both new players will get another shot at proving themselves in the NA VCT scene by joining TSM. Seven was only 15 when he made his mark as a substitute for 100 Thieves, after all. After a short time on T1, he moved onto the inactive roster in March of 2022 and has remained there since.

As a duelist, Seven will use his skills on Jett and Chamber player to fill Wardell’s former role in the team. Despite the official announcement still in the works, TSM confirmed they’re working together in Austin, Texas for the future. Not too long afterward, seven confirmed he arrived in Texas.

As for gMd, he has been a player for Gen.G Esports’ VALORANT roster since May 2020. He has shared in their highs, like when they reached the top four in both Challengers 1 and Masters 1 in 2021. However, he’s also been part of their recent lows, like their inability to qualify for Stage 1 of NA VCT in 2022.

As primarily a smokes player, Brimstone is his specialty. Time will tell how he will replace Aleko in that flex role within the team.

TSM’s new roster and future

With these two players soon to join the team, here is TSM’s roster heading into Stage 2.

  • Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik (IGL)
  • Corey “corey” Nigra
  • Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo
  • Johann “seven” Hernandez
  • Anthony “gMd” Guimond
