Swedish-born Overwatch pro and analyst Jonathan “Reinforce” Larsson posted on Twitter over the weekend that his contract for Overwatch League is not renewed for next year. Reinforce started his three-year run as an analyst after working the Overwatch World Cup in 2016. Larsson has stated that he will be returning to streaming on Twitch regularly.
I had an amazing time this weekend, but I'm sad to announce this is the end as I've not been offered a talent contract for @OverwatchLeague 2019.@PlayOverwatch is the best thing to ever happen to me. Thank you to my fantastic co-workers, and my lovely fans. You made me happy.

Delayed news from Reinforce
Reinforce states that he waited until this past weekend to drop the news. He reasons that he wanted BlizzCon 2018 to be over to not affect the competition. This news received a mixed reception, with some fans appreciating the decision and others finding it questionable. Alberto “Crumbz” Rengifo also joins him in departing the desk. Additionally, his contract for 2019 has not been renewed. This news has some fans wondering what direction Overwatch League will take next year.
Reinforce can be found on Twitter and on his Twitch channel, regularly streaming. He’ll be missed on the Overwatch League desk by fans worldwide.
