Just mere days ago, a trailer was leaked for one of two yet-to-be-unveiled operators in Rainbow Six Siege. They were originally set to be announced during the finals of the Six Major Paris competition later this week. Ubisoft has now acknowledged the leak by officially unveiling some details on the upcoming addition to the Rainbow Six Siege roster.
The newest Defender, Clash, is the first to pack a heavy-duty shield. She is an England native who served with the Territorial Support Group during the 2011 London Riots. Additionally, the blog posting states that Clash “earned her spot with the Specialists Firearms Command (SCO19), making herself known within London’s Metropolitan Police Services (MPS).”
Morowa “Clash” Evans will sport the CCE Shield (Crowd Control Electro Shield). According to the background for the character, her expertise lies in crowd-control strategy who understands the nature of mob behavior. Therefore, this makes Clash the perfect candidate for the newly-designed Rainbow Six gadget, the CCE Shield.
It’s apparent that the initial state of the riot shield morphs into something more befitting of its name. The shield extends the entire length of Clash’s body. Also, as one would expect, it emits an electro-shock, of sorts, to temper the competition. Check it out in the full teaser trailer below.
Six Major – Paris
Clash was initially meant to be a reveal during the first Six Major event in Paris. Despite the leak, Ubisoft will provide the full official reveal at the event as planned along with another operator. Recently, we shared the details of Ubisoft’s first-ever Six Major event which will be annualized and take place in different locations around the globe each year. This year, the competition will happen in Paris. Ubisoft promises to unveil more from Operation Grim Sky at the event.
