That’s right, a PUBG van, similar to the van in-game, is driving around the UK handing out free ice cream and PUBG prizes. The announcement went out August 7th on Microsoft’s website stating that the PUBG van will be visiting Brighton, Blackpool, and a number of locations in the UK.

The reasoning behind this giveaway is presumably to celebrate the PUBG Global Invitational, however, there are no sources regarding the giveaway. But, where there are frozen treats, I’ll be there.

The Xbox UK’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts will keep people updated on where the van has stopped. Microsoft has also stated that if people take a selfie with their ice cream and post it online using the #PUBGVan tag, they will be entered into a competition to win prizes including Xbox Live codes, copies of PUBG, and even an Xbox One X console.

So, if you live in the UK, get on down to the PUBG van because who doesn’t love ice cream?

What are your thoughts on the ice cream giveaway and do you think the PUBG van should visit countries all around the world? Let us know!
