Epic Games announced the return of a power-leveling weekend. During this weekend, players have been given the ability to power level their Fortnite Battle Passes, making it much faster. This is the perfect time to enable accelerated leveling with the addition of a Star Wars and Fortnite collaboration, which means more casual players will be on.

Power-leveling weekend

With the power-leveling weekend, players will get a “Supercharged XP” bonus in Fortnite. This will grant them four times the amount of experience they would normally earn from playing matches in Fortnite. Experience points and medals are earned from a variety of in-game activities that range from opening chests to defeating opponents. In addition, players can complete challenges and survive longer in matches to earn even more points.

The power level event last took place October 19 – 20, which happened shortly after the leveling system was changed in Chapter 2. With a focus on making the Fortnite Battle Pass easier rather than a grind, the experience given for past events has now been multiplied. Still, it requires a commitment of in-game time and number of matches played, so players that invest the time feel rewarded.

Fortnite Battle Pass

Season 2 of Chapter 2 arrives in two months, which will feature a brand new premium Fortnite Battle Pass and other updates. Until then, players can enjoy the Star Wars and Fortnite collaboration, along with celebrating the holidays with some in-game festivities. These include new game features, free cosmetic rewards, and a “live experience” during Winterfest.

In addition, new winter-themed challenges and holiday skins will join the map further snow-covered due to the winter season. There have also been rumors that some vaulted weapons will be allegedly making a comeback. Are you taking advantage of the promotion to power level your battle pass in Fortnite?
