On Jan. 28, the official Legends of Runeterra Twitter announced Mikulas “Pokrovac” Dio as the first player in the world to reach the Master rank. In Legends of Runeterra, there are seven ranks ranging from Iron to Master. Master is, therefore, the highest rank a player can obtain. For reaching such a high rank within the first week of the game’s open-beta release, Pokrovac is a Beta Legend.
Congratulations @pokrovacHS! You are a beta legend.

Pokrovac began bookmarking his climb to Master as soon as he hit Platinum on Jan. 25. Apparently, the deck he used for that was self-made and off-meta. But after reaching Platinum, Pokrovac became determined to continue his climb and keep track of the Legends of Runeterra leaderboard. Only two days later, he ranked as the second-best Diamond player in Europe behind Xixo, an SK Telecom T1 Hearthstone team member. Finally, on Jan. 28, he reached Master.
About Pokrovac
Pokrovac is known as a professional Hearthstone player from the Czech Republic. Before becoming the first Master rank in Legends of Runeterra, he placed first in the Hearthstone leaderboards in February of 2019. He also topped off in first place during the Hearthstone Global Games in 2017 with the Czech National Team. In addition, Pokrovac finished in third and fourth place with eSuba during the 2016 Hearthstone Winter Championship in Europe. His experience with Hearthstone seems to have helped him understand the mechanics in Legends of Runeterra.
Wondering what decks Pokrovac used to climb all the way to Master? Well, wonder no more! The player has been kind enough to share his decks with the world. If you would like to follow Pokrovac, you can visit his Twitter. You can also check out his Twitch streams, where he plays Legends of Runeterra, Hearthstone, and Teamfight Tactics.
Congratulations to Pokrovac for being the first player in the world to reach Master rank in Legends of Runeterra!
