The long awaited eFootball PES 2020 Data Pack 2.0 has finally arrived today. The Data Pack brings a hefty amount of content to the football game including Serie B, new boots, updated player models to partner clubs, more legends, and much more. Additionally, some gameplay changes have been introduced. These have been based on consumer feedback and have been implemented to make the gameplay side of PES 2020 smoother and more enjoyable.
Serie B, boots, more legends and cosmetic updates
The updated player models have been already teased on Twitter in recent tweets on the official PES 2020 Twitter account. The updated models concern partner clubs such as Juventus and Manchester United. Therefore, players such as Daniel James or Aaron Ramsey have received a makeover.
Since the fully licensed Italian Serie A was added to the game at release, some have been asking for the second league, Serie B, to be added as well. Well, their prayers have been answered. The league has been fully licensed in the Data Pack 2.0 update.
In other news, brand new pairs of boots are now attainable, and Arsenal’s stadium, The Emirates, has been also given a cosmetic update. Additionally, new legends like Andy Cole or the FC Barcelona legend Deco have arrived.

Data Pack 2.0 brings gameplay fixes
Some have been waiting for more content; others have been eagerly awaiting smoother gameplay. Many have been complaining that the demo version ran much better than the full eFootball PES 2020 game.
The most important fixes covered include the following:
- The super cancel technique has been fixed to work under all circumstances.
- Fouls committed by the goalkeeper will now always be called.
- Trick free-kick, especially when done by the second player, will now work as intended.
- NPC football players will now be more eager to go after loose balls than before, something that was a nuisance and made the gameplay feel extremely unresponsive.
