As of right now, if you want to see an Overwatch League match in person, you’ll have to travel to California. However, in April fans have the opportunity to see eight teams battle it out in the Lone Star State.
The first of these “home games” will take place during three separate weekends throughout the 2019 season. Each weekend will have a different host. In April during stage 2, it will be hosted by the Dallas Fuel. The first set of matches, known as Ultimate Weekend, will take place at the Allen Event Center in northern Texas.
Who will be there?
Starting on April 27, the weekend will begin with a match between the Paris Eternal and the London Spitfire. However, both days will feature four matches and the event will conclude with a rivalry match between the two Texan teams.
Saturday, April 27
- Paris Eternal vs. London Spitfire
- Hangzhou Spark vs. Chengdu Hunters
- Houston Outlaws vs. Seoul Dynasty
- Los Angeles Valiant vs. Dallas Fuel
Sunday, April 28
- Hangzhou Spark vs. Paris Eternal
- Chengdu Hunters vs. London Spitfire
- Seoul Dynasty vs. Los Angeles Valiant
- Houston Outlaws vs. Dallas Fuel
The times for these matches will be announced at a later date. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to meet and greet with the teams per ticket upgrade through the Dallas Fuel website. All eight teams will be available on Saturday after the conclusion of the matches.
On Sunday, both the entirety of the Dallas Fuel and the Houston Outlaws will be available after matches for a signing session. Any admission tickets to this event can be upgraded to the Grandmaster package, which will grant access to one of the two autograph sessions as well as a mystery bag full of Overwatch League merchandise. Additional details for the entire weekend can be found on the Dallas Fuel website.
