Once Human offers a new feature to allow players to easily change builds

In a surprising Dev Talk, Once Human has acknowledged that some players felt like their first season in-game was wasted due to the nerfs that shifted the Meta builds in the game. To help ease the pain of shifting Metas and significant investment into blueprint upgrades, they’re releasing an innovative new feature.

In most games, developers would respond and say sorry, but that’s the way it goes. Enjoy farming for that perfect build this season, and know that next season we’ll nerf whatever is Meta gain, nullifying all your hard work.

But… not Starry Studios. They’ve taken this feedback from players very seriously, and have decided upon a rather genius solution. Once this new feature goes live, players will be able to swap blueprint levels!

So, if you have a three-star SOCR, but you now want to hop onto the Unstable Bomber bandwagon, you can simply swap those three starts onto the DE.50. This means that if your DE.50 is a one-star, it will become a three-star and your SOCR will become a one-star.

There is talk of “chances” so I’m assuming it will work similarly to the Memetic Specialization re-roll feature, and you’ll only have a limited number of swaps per season.

Once again, the team at Once Human are showing a real willingness to take player feedback onboard and actually do something about complaints, which is — quite honestly — amazing.
