More weapons leak for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer

Even more weaponry is on the way

Prior to the second weekend of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta beginning today, even more weapons for multiplayer have been leaked. Xbox players have been able to access Local Play on their copy of MW2, which has enabled them to view all sorts of new content. A part of that content is over a dozen weapons that will be coming in the full release of MW2.

Some of these weapons were already known about due to leakers saying they will be coming to the game. However, others were a complete surprise, including some blasts from the past.

Reddit user u/Gianii90 was one of the many community members to access Local Play on Xbox and post all of the weapons they were able to see. Below, they’ve posted a video of the weapons in action, but we’ll also list them out.

I have made a compilation of all new weapons I posted yesterday plus some new ones

  • PP19 Vityaz
  • PP19 Bizon
  • Barret MRAD (AX-50)
  • RPG-7
  • Remington 870
  • Browning 725
  • AK 105
  • AK 103
  • TAQ 556 (SCAR-L)
  • MPL (MP7)
  • RPK
  • Desert Eagle

There are a handful of weapons on this list that fans of Modern Warfare 2019 will instantly recognize. The SCAR-L, PP19 Bizon, Desert Eagle, RPG_7, and MP7 are all weapons that were featured in that title, and they’ve returned to MW2. However, there are some new additions to the weapons list that we previously didn’t know about.

The PP19 Vityaz, AK 105 and 103, and RPK are among the new weapons that are coming to multiplayer. Weapons like the PP19 Vityaz and AK 105 and 103 will be a part of the same family as other weapons. This means players will have to use them in order to unlock another weapon in the same family and attachments will be shared across the weapons.

As the launch of Modern Warfare 2 gets closer, we should hear about even more weapons that will arrive in multiplayer.
