Moisty Mire returning in Fortnite Season X as Moisty Palms

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

It seems we have a leak regarding the next location to change in Fortnite Season X. Before the start of the season, Epic Games had hinted at old locations making a return. However, these points of interest are coming back with a bit of a twist. We’ve already seen this with Tilted Town, a Wild West spinoff of Tilted Towers and Neo Tilted. However, what’s next? According to leaks, Moisty Mire will be making its first appearance since Season 4. Though it will be coming back under the guise of Moisty Palms.

Moisty Palms coming sometime soon

As always, this is simply a leak and Epic Games could change their direction as the season progresses. However, Fortnite leakers were correct about Tilted Town, and that is well underway in-game right now.

According to well-known leaker @HYPEX, Moisty Palms will be coming sometime during Season X. There are no images of Moisty Palms due to there not being another update for Season X yet, but that should happen later this week.

This won’t be the same Moisty Mire from the early days of Fortnite. We can gather from the name of the location that it will be some kind of combination of Paradise Palms and Moisty Mire.

Paradise Palms, along with the rest of the desert biome, replaced Moisty Mire in Season 5. The desert has been mostly unchanged since then. Though, some change will definitely come its way during Fortnite‘s tenth season.

We don’t have an exact date of when Moisty Palms will start to form. The arrival of the Rift Beacon, which is currently in Neo Tilted, in Paradise Palms will signal the start of the event. Until then, you can continue to enjoy dropping in Paradise Palms.
