The Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) ended with less than 10 points separating the top three teams in the North American East region (NAE). Mack “MackWood” Aesoph, Anthony “ZexRow” Colandro, and Jonathan “yung calculator” Weber won the Grand Finals by a single point over the second-place team. The trio played incredibly consistently throughout the six games. Every game, the team achieved placement points. Additionally, MackWood, ZexRow, and yung calculator exploded in Game 3 for a huge win. They earned $300,000 for first place.
In second, the veteran trio of Ryan “Chap” Chaplo, Chris “CizLucky” Perez, and Noah “Vivid” Wright displayed their own abilities. They started strong with a Game 1 win, then came in second in Game 6. Their play during the NAE Grand Finals surprised many viewers. These three are among the most experienced in the competitive Fortnite scene. Their knowledge of the game paid off as they won $135,000.
Game 1
Teams contested Retail Row, Moisty Palms, and Greasy Grove. The winning trio of Chap, CizLucky, and Vivid landed at Fatal Field alone. They looted up and waited until the end of the game. Finally, the trio made their move to take the high ground. The play cost the team a lot of materials but proved to be worth the sacrifice. They grabbed seven eliminations on their way to a victory royale.
Game 2
The second game of FNCS went to “GA KEZ,” “AR LDamienS,” and “AR Sebby.” They narrowly reached the Grand Finals. But in Game 2, the trio showed they belonged. The team took down six players on their way to the victory royale. They sat in the middle ground tarp while chaos took place around them. Ultimately, GA KEZ, AR LDamienS, and AR Sebby stuck together and separated enemy players to gain eliminations.
Vivid made an amazing play late in the game to keep his trio in first place. He eliminated five players in a row.

Game 3
In Game 3, the NAE region’s winners popped off for a huge win. ZexRow, MackWood, and yung calculator stuck together and used excellent positioning to eliminate players. Each player captured multiple eliminations. Overall, the team captured 14 eliminations on their way to the win. In the end, they battled Crimz and Spades, who tried to make a desperate two-versus-three play. The win by ZexRow, MackWood, and yung calculator put them in first place.
Game 4
Next, Mason “Symfuhny” Lanier, “Slackes,” and Malachi “Reverse2k” Greiner made a statement. The underdog trio was quiet through the first three games. In this format, a team can jump up the standings with one big game. Symfuhny, Slackes, and Reverse2k did just that and won Game 4 with 12 eliminations. The trio immediately jumped into contention with a 27-point FNCS game.
Game 5
The fifth game went to Rocco “Saf” Morales, Williams “Zayt” Aubin, and “Zyfa.” They remained close throughout the beginning of the competition. Then the win in Game 5 put them in second place. The win came with six eliminations. Saf, Zayt, and Zyfa sat only six points behind first place with one game left.
Game 6
Dawson “Tylarzz” Sherwood, James “Painful” Garrod, and “blakeps” won the final game. The trio took advantage of an RPG to punish the players down below. Ultimately, they finished the game with eight eliminations. The win put them into third place with 63 points and earned them $90,000.
The win in Game 3 kept MackWood, ZexRow, and yung calculator on the top of the standings. At last, this team broke the finals curse. Traditionally, the trio would excel in the first couple of rounds of competition but struggle in the finals. Now, they sit on top as the best trio in the Fortnite NAE region.
