In a surprise announcement at EGLX (Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo) in Toronto, Luminosity Gaming officially announced the signing of Fortnite player Griffin “Sceptic” Spikoski. Sceptic joins the Canadian organization after previously competing for Misfits Gaming. While there, he achieved a 35th place finish at the 2019 Fortnite World Cup Duo Finals with Cody “Clix” Conrod.

Luminosity Gaming entered the Fortnite scene in July of 2018 with the signing of Chris ā€œcrowdotwaveā€ Merryweather, Abdiel ā€œAragonā€ Ortega, Brian ā€œbeesoxā€ Song, and Nate ā€œKreoā€ Kou. Since its inception, the Canadian organization has added on even more players and content creators as well.

Sceptic joins a stacked Luminosity Gaming roster that already boasts superstar names like Ali ā€œSypherPKā€ Hassan, Caesar ā€œCDNThe3rdā€ Noriega, and Brandon ā€œYeloā€ Yelo. The former content team for esports organization Red Reserve has also joined, which includes Alex ā€œFormulaā€ Kushelevskiy, Jordan ā€œRandumbā€ Schneider, Nick ā€œNicksā€ Spoerke, and John ā€œKiwizā€ Payne.”

Griffin “Sceptic” Spikoski is a 15-year-old North American player who attributes his initial success in Fortnite to a viral video on YouTube with his gameplay. He has mentioned in interviews that he maintains his skill level by practicing between 8 and 18 hours a day.Ā He has over 400,000 followers on Twitch, nearly 75,000 followers on Twitter, and almost 1.4 million subscribers on YouTube.

Sceptic left Misfits Gaming in July, after previously teaming with Clix at the Fortnite World Cup Finals. Both players separated after not achieving their desired result, and fans have awaited news about the star playerā€™s next move. With his ability as a professional player and popularity as a content creator, Sceptic will be a great addition to the Luminosity Gaming family.
