Khanada’s introduction video presents him as the “Solo Cup King,” featuring Fortnite gameplay footage of the player in action. With over 192,000 Twitch followers, the player has been gradually making a name for himself in the scene. Meanwhile, Khanada has competed in dozens of both solo and duo Fortnite competitions since the start of 2019. His most recent major event was DreamHack Anaheim in February, where he consequently placed 12th in the solo competition.
Khanada joins the ranks
Becoming part of the TSM squad marks Khanada’s first signing with a major organization. TSM has rosters in multiple esports, including League of Legends and Super Smash Bros., and became part of the Fortnite scene in early 2018. The organization’s most recent events include DreamHack Anaheim and the Australian Open 2020, the latter of which saw Anthony “ZexRow” Colandro place 8th in Solos.
According to a statement from TSM, Khanada’s performance at last year’s Trios Cash Cup caught the attention of popular Fortnite streamer Turner “Tfue” Tenney. Following Trios, Khanada and Tfue teamed up for the Fortnite Champion Series’s squad competitions. Alongside Alex “Fiber” Bonetello of Team Liquid and Dennis “cloakzy” Lepore, the team subsequently took 7th place at the Grand Finals.
In the statement, Khanada expressed his excitement to join the organization.
“TSM is a great org that cares about their players and it’s the only one I want to be on. With me on the team, TSM’s going to look even more stacked, and I can’t wait to achieve more with their support.”
With the addition of Khanada, TSM’s main Fortnite roster is now as follows:
- Ali “Myth” Kabbani (Team captain)
- Daequan “Daequan” Loco
- Darryle “Hamlinz” Hamlin
- Jesse “RealKraftyy” Kraft
- Maria “ChicaLive” Lopez
- Anthony “ZexRow” Colandro
- Malachi Drake “Reverse2k” Greiner
- Theo “Crue” Ferrer
- Emad “EmadGG” Nasif
- Mack “MackWood” Aesoph
- Leon “Khanada” Woobin Khim
