The end of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order saw Cal Kestis take on Darth Vader, arguably the most well-known character in the franchise. This was an intense moment in the game and took most fans by surprise. Naturally, fans want to know if they can expect to see Darth Vader in Fallen Order’s sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
As most hardcore Star Wars fans know, Lord Vader can’t die in these games, as they are set before the events of the episodic movies. That doesn’t mean Cal and his crew can’t see Vader pop up during the events of Survivor, though.
From here on, there will be major spoilers for the story of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. However, we will not delve into deep story details — we will just state if Vader appears in the game and at what point players can expect to see the villain.
Darth Vader in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
We can confirm that yes, Darth Vader does make an appearance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. We won’t say exactly when the evil villain shows up, but it’s not until near the end of the game. This means that players will have to spend roughly 20 hours in-game before they have the chance to see Darth Vader in action.
While this might be disappointing, Darth Vader’s entrance does make sense in terms of the overall story. Like in Fallen Order, Vader does not play a major role in the story, but the moment he enters the game, the intensity is cranked up. That’s all we have to say about Darth Vader’s appearance in Survivor, and players will have to wait until they are nearing the end of the game to see exactly how he impacts the story.
