“We are excited to extend our support for the PUBG community, from the FACEIT Global Summit and PUBG Nations Cup to the PUBG Global Championship,” said Stephanie Winkler, strategic marketing manager at HyperX. “Providing our HyperX peripherals, we aim to demonstrate how professional-grade gear greatly empowers PUBG gamers while enhancing their gaming experience.”

HyperX will provide gaming headsets, keyboards, and mice for the PUBG tournament. Players will be able to utilize the Cloud Alpha, Cloud Earbuds, Pulsefire FPS Pro, Alloy FPS RGB, and FURY RGB SSD while competing. Lagardère Sports brokered the deal as the exclusive sponsorship rights agent for the event. HyperX has previously sponsored the FACEIT Global Summit: PUBG Classic in a peripherals sponsorship capacity as well.

“HyperX has been a very important part of PUBG Esports this year, and we are very pleased to announce that they will be a part of the PUBG Global Championship in a major way,” said Julian Schwartz, the Central Esports Business Development Manager at PUBG Corp. “Esports requires many different pieces of hardware—and here at PUBG Esports, we do not compromise on quality. HyperX is a uniquely great partner, as they can provide an array of items and peripherals without compromising quality or style.”

The PUBG Global Championship is an offline event that consists of 32 teams competing for a $2 million prize pool. The World Champion takes home $1 million and a cut of cosmetic in-game skin revenue. Participants will compete in the Squads first-person perspective game mode, with the Groups Stage and Semifinals at the OGN Super Arena in Los Angeles, California. After half the competitors have been eliminated, 16 teams will advance to the Grand Finals at the Oakland Arena, between Nov. 23 – 24.
