The Format and where to watch

The eight teams will play against each other on Day 1 of the event on December 11. The top four teams in the standings after the first day will move onto the Day 2 finals on December 12. In the finals, the four teams will have their points reset. The finals will be using a modified Checkmate format. This means that the team that wins a game after hitting a point threshold will win the event. The modification comes in the form of a safety net where if a team hits a predetermined amount of points after the threshold, they will win the event without having to secure a first-place finish.

The event will be broadcast live on twitch on both the Giant Slayer and TFT channels. The action kicks off at 7 p.m. EST starting on December 11. The event will be cast by a talent line-up that consists of experienced casters Dan “Frodan” Chou and Nathan “Admirable” Zamora. Former TFT pro player “Jirachy” will also be a part of the commentary line-up.
