How to track your zombie kills in MW3 Zombies

Keep track of your undead kills

One of the most enticing elements of the Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is going for weapon camos. There are hundreds of possible base camos and eight different Mastery Camos available to earn in Zombies. Most of the camos require you to earn a specific number of zombie kills, which can be difficult to track in MW3.

For example, if you need to get 100 kills with a weapon and then extract for the Gilded challenge, knowing how many kills you currently have is especially important. If you extract with less than 100 kills, you need to start all over again in a separate match. Below, you can see if you’re able to track your zombie kills in MW3 so you can possibly avoid these problems.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, you are not able to track your zombie kills in-game in any way. There is no tracker or scoreboard that keeps up with how many kills you have in a certain match. While you can view other stats, the number of kills you have is not one of them.

This has been a massive complaint from the Zombies community early on in MW3, as camo grinders are desperate to find a way to track their kills. Currently, the way I have been tracking my kills is simply by counting them in my head. While I don’t try to count past 100-200 kills, I like to single out each zombie kill so it’s easier to track manually. This works best when going for the Gilded or Golden Enigma Mastery Camos in Zombies, as you need to kill 100 zombies to earn the camos, but the game doesn’t update you when you cross that threshold.

So, until the developers possibly implement an in-game kill tracker, the only way to track zombie kills in MW3 is in your head. Hopefully, the developers see the community feedback and deliver an update with a kill tracker sometime in the near future.
