The Week 14 Legendary Quests are now live in Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 7. This is the last time players can partake in the challenges during Season 7. Operation Sky Fire is coming up and it’s going to vault players into Season 8 this weekend. To help the Imagined Order and Doctor Slone make sure that everything goes off without a hitch, players can spoil a mole’s sabotage attempt in the Legendary Quests.
This is one of the stranger challenges to take place in Season 7. Apparently, there’s a mole within the IO that’s working with the aliens to stop Operation Sky Fire from happening. Obviously, players can’t allow that, so they’re tasked with stopping the attempt in exchange for some Battle Pass XP. They also need to confront this same mole, which is another other challenge in Week 14.
Spoiling the mole’s sabotage attempt in Fortnite
This challenge requires players to visit Corny Complex, which is the central base for the IO. However, it’s also where the Alien Mothership tends to hover. For this quest, players will actually need to jump on one of the few islands that the mothership is sucking up into the air.
Players can land at Corny Complex, find one of the patches of land that the mothership is targeting and jump onto it. From there, players will find a portion of the IO bunker on the island. There’s a machine sticking out from the bunker, which can be interacted with.
To complete this Week 14 Legendary Quest, players must interact with the machine. It appears that the mole was trying to get a part of the IO’s technology up to the alien mothership, which could have been detrimental to Operation Sky Fire. However, as long as players interact with the machine on the island, this spoils the mole’s sabotage attempt.
Players will be awarded 30,000 XP for their Season 7 Battle Pass in exchange for their efforts.
