How to solve the puzzle in The Secluded Forest – The Plucky Squire

Getting through the Secluded Forest in The Plucky Squire can be tricky when you reach the big orange cat named Topsy. You’ll need to change some words around and apply some newfound biscuit-tray-maneuvering skills in order to pull it off.

Here’s how to solve the cat biscuit puzzle in The Plucky Squire.

Where is the key to the blue door in Topsy’s forest?

The key is under Topsy, but in order to get it, you’ll need to get him to move. For that, you’ll need to reunite him with his biscuits.

Your first step is to get violent. Go on, hit the word “Forest” with your sword. It’ll pop loose.

After that, go up the stairs near the top of the screen and follow the walkway across. You’ll see the biscuit tray in the top right-hand corner. Defeat the troll and cut away the bushes, then drag the biscuit tray to the patch of dirt with the blue and red biscuit crumbs in.

Now go and grab the word “Ruin” after defeating the troll there. Head back to Topsy and drop the word on the sentence there to replace the word “Forest.” The map will change, and you’ll be able to drag the biscuit tray over to the next position marked on the map.

Once it’s there, change the map back to a forest and keep dragging the tray over. When you change it back to a ruin one more time, you’ll be able to drag the tray all the way to Topsy and enjoy a little surprise!
You’ll also get the key, so you can move onward to Tome Tower!
