Looking for a fun adventure into an alternative version of the past?
Atomic Heart is an upcoming first-person shooter action role-playing game developed by Mundfish. The developers showed a glimpse of what’s to come with the recent trailer starring popular American actor, Jensen Ackles, best known for his roles in Supernatural and The Boys.
The action pack-filled game is set for release on Feb 21 with several explosive combats to explore. Atomic Heart will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 as well as the Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S.
For players with Series X looking to preload Atomic Heart on their consoles, here’s all you need to know.
Atomic Heart preload details for Xbox Series X
For any Series X users, the first thing to know is that the game’s size is currently 78.66 GB. This means that you’ll need enough SSD space to install the game. Moreover, the overall file size may still change in the run-up to launch so it’s better to have far more than the required space.
Atomic Heart is currently available for preloading on the Series X via Microsoft store versions. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also preload the game as it will be available on the day day of release. Atomic Heart will automatically preload on Xbox Series X if auto-updates are turned on after pre-order.
However, players can pre-add Atomic Heart through the Game Pass library. After preloading, all you need to do is wait for Feb. 21 to unlock the game.
