KRAFTON Inc. has announced a new Pick’em challenge for the 2021 PUBG Global Championship. This official Pick’em Challenge will run from Nov. 15 to Dec. 18 and is open to everyone. The PUBG Global Championship is the most prestigious event that will crown the overall champions of the battle royale esport for 2021. Moreover, thirty percent of the Pick’em Challenge net sales will be added to the tournament’s $2 million dollar prize pool.
How to get voting coupons for Pick’em challenge
To participate in the PUBG Global Championship Pick’em challenge, players must first obtain voting coupons. Players will use these coupons to predict the winners of the PUBG Global Championship 2021 matches. There are two ways to obtain these voting coupons.
The first way is by watching the tournament games. Here, players have to visit the in-game PUBG Esports tab weekly and while watching games, they will see a code on their screen. This code can be redeemed in-game for a free voting coupon.
Alternatively, the second option is to purchase exclusive in-game items from the store. These items are bundled with up to 60 voting coupons depending on the bundle. The PUBG Global Championship items available for players to purchase include:
- PGC 2021 Contingent Chaos Duster Bundle (includes 25 Voting Coupons)
- PGC 2021 Contingent Chaos Jacket Bundle (includes 25 Voting Coupons)
- PGC 2021 Dance Splash Emote Bundle (includes 1 Voting Coupon)
- PGC 2021 Mega Bundle (includes 60 Voting Coupons)
How to use voting coupons in PUBG Global Championship Pick’em Challenge
After getting the voting coupons, you can participate in two separate Pick’em Challenge events that will occur weekly. These events include a Weekly Final Top Four and the Weekly Kill Point MVP.
In the Weekly Final Top Four pick’ems, fans can use their voting coupons to predict teams that will finish in the top four at the end of a week. Everyone who decides to participate can vote for a maximum of eight teams. Players with correct predictions can earn up to 187,500 Esports Points weekly.
Moreover, fans can use their voting coupons to predict the team that will earn the most kills during the Weekly Finals. Here, players earn a maximum of 150,000 EP weekly and can vote for eight teams.
Aside from these two events, there is another way to earn Esports Points. All fans who watch the official PUBG Twitch broadcast of the Championship can get up to 40,000 free EP through special Twitch drops. However, viewers must make sure they link their KRAFTON ID with their Twitch account or the platform of their choice to receive these drops.
Additionally, players can obtain in-game items with the EP acquired from participating in the Pick’em challenge. These rewards include:
