How to make a Glider in LEGO Fortnite

LEGO Fortnite has plenty of ways to get around, in fact, some aren’t even made by the devs themselves, but instead by creative players in the game. One way that was intended to travel the skies is the use of a Glider.

As the name suggests this buildable tool will allow you to glide across the sky instead of falling to the ground which is literally a life-saver in many situations. Especially when building tall structures with friends.

While it can be tricky to make, the Glider is a great tool everyone should invest in. Here’s exactly how you can make one for yourself.

Making a Glider in LEGO Fortnite

You can craft a Glider using Flewood Rods, Wool Fabric, and Silk Fabric, but you need to have an upgraded Crafting Bench.

Your first step will be upgrading your Crafting Bench to rare or better. If you haven’t done this then there’s no way that you can craft the Glider, so make sure you do it first.

Next, you’ll want to head out and farm some Flexwood to be made into rods. Create a Lumber Mill and use this tool to turn that freshly cut Flexwood into Flexwood Rods. Remember, you need a Rare Forest Axe or better to get Flexwood, so make sure you have one before venturing out.

Alongside this, you’ll need Wool and Silk Fabric so head out and farm the Thread that corresponds to each of these. Once you’ve got enough Wool from Sheep take it to a Spinning Wheel to become thread and then a Loom to turn it into fabric. This process can be done with Silk that you get from Spiders. 

To make the Glider you will need the following:

• 8 Flexwood Rods
• 4 Wool Fabric
• 4 Silk Fabric

Go to your Rare Crafting Bench and use these items to make the Glider and that’s it! Now you’re ready to glide across the skies of LEGO Fortnite.
