Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC marked the return of several Starter Pokémon from every region, now catchable in the wild.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet brought back hundreds of returning Pokémon thanks to the new Indigo Disk DLC. Most notable among those returning are the Starter Pokémon from every region, which are now catchable in the wild.

However, players won’t be able to access the Starter Pokémon in the Indigo Disk right off the bat. Players will need to complete certain quests and accumulate quite a bit of the new Blueberry Point currency.

Here is all the info you’ll need to find and capture every returning Starter in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

First, you will need to make it to the Blueberry League club room in The Indigo Disk’s story before you can redeem your BP. Once you’re there, Drayton will talk to you about using the computer to donate BP to other clubs. After this tutorial, which will unlock new Pokéball throwing styles, you’ll be free to donate to any other clubs you want.

You’ll need to do BBQs, or Blueberry Quests, to get BP. You can amass tons by using the Union Circle mode with other players. For 3,000 BP each, you can opt to “increase the biodiversity” and add Pokémon to each of the four Terarium biomes.

Where to find each Starter Pokémon

Each starter Pokémon appears in a different biome in Blueberry Academy’s expansive Terrarium. Their locations correspond to the biomes listed below:

  • Savannah Biome: Charmander, Totodile, Snivy, Fennekin, Rowlet, Sobble
  • Coastal Biome: Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Mudkip, Froakie, Popplio, Grookie
  • Polar Biome: Cyndaquil, Torchic, Chimchar, Piplup, Oshawott, Chespin, Scorbunny
  • Canyon Biome: Squirtle, Treecko, Turtwig, Tepig, Chespin, Litten

These Pokémon can be quite rare and hard to find in large quantities.

If you’re having trouble finding the Pokémon in their respective biomes, using a sandwich that boosts encounter rate by type can massively boost your chances of finding these Pokémon. Here are some example sandwich recipes that can get the job done:

  • Fire encounters: Pickle sandwich (1 pickle and 1 olive oil)
  • Grass encounters: Klawf claw sandwich (1 Klawf stick, 1 tomato, 1 lettuce, 1 salt, and 1 olive oil)
  • Water encounters: Zesty sandwich (1 jalapeño, 1 onion, 1 herbed sausage, and 1 chili sauce)
