How to get Sneasler with the Razor Claw in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

From backpack to Pokémon team

Sneasler is one of a handful of new Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus and it takes a little know how to get him on your team. You’ll need a Sneasel and a Razor Claw in order to have it evolve into a Sneasler.

Sneasel can be found in a few places within Arceus, the Celestica Trail and Primeval Grotto in the Coronet Highlands or Avalugg’s Legacy or the Glacier Terrace in the Alabaster Icelands. Sneasel will be at a higher level if caught in the Alabaster Icelands.

Catching a Sneasel is the easy part of this task. Once you have it, you’ll need to buy a Razor Claw from the Item Exchange back in Jubilife Village. You’ll need to collect enough lost items in order to raise 1,400 merit points to purchase the Razor Claw at the stand next to the Team Galaxy headquarters.

You can raise merit points by collecting a variety of lost items throughout Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Head to the ‘Communications’ tab in the menu and navigate to the ‘Lost & Found’ option. You’ll find a list of lost items that players dropped when they blacked out in their own single player adventure. The amount of merit points earned for each item is listed here as well. This feature puts Arceus in the Death Stranding family of games, where players can find traces of others in their own in-game world.

Get enough merit points, buy the Razor Claw and then use it on a Hisuian Sneasel in order to get your own Sneasler. Like Kleavor, Sneasler is one of the many new Pokémon that’s sought after in Game Freak’s latest adventure.
