Just like every other Pokémon game, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet feature unique ways to evolve Pokémon. Not every Pokémon can evolve by just leveling it up. Some Pokémon need special items called stones to evolve. One of the stones that players may need to evolve their Pokémon is a Shiny Stone. In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the Shiny Stone is used to evolve Floette to Florges.  These Shiny Stones exist in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and there are a couple of different ways to get them. Here is a quick guide on how to get Shiny Stones in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Shiny Stone Locations

Like almost every other item, the Shiny Stone has a set location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. For players in search of one, the only guaranteed Shiny Stone in the game is located in area six of the South Province. It’s at the top of a waterfall, and the only real way to get to it is to have the climbing ability on your Koraidon or Miraidon, depending on which version of the game you are playing. To get this climbing ability, players will have to take down the False Dragon Titan first.

If players can’t make their way to the above locations, Dawn Stones could randomly be available at the auction house in Porto Marinada, a town in the West Province. Players will have to cross the Asado Desert to gain access to Porto Marinada, but once players progress through this point in the game, they can easily fly back to the area any time after. Porto Marinada is also part of the Cascarrafa Gym Test, so players will eventually be guaranteed access to the city. To check if Dawn Stones are at the auction house, periodically check back to see if they are in stock.
