Dungeons are spread all across the world of Faerun in Baldur’s Gate 3, and Whispering Depths is one of the first you can find as you begin your journey. Whispering Depths is a dungeon that players could complete in the early access build, and not much has changed in the full version. Still, if it’s been a while since you played or you are brand new to Baldur’s Gate 3, you will need to know where you can find it.
Here’s the precise location of the entrance to the Whispering Depths dungeon as well as what you can expect when you get inside.
Getting to the Whispering Depths dungeon in Baldur’s Gate 3
Whispering Depths is located directly near the Blighted Village waypoint. Blighted Village is a small town overrun by goblins, and you can either sneak your way in, fight all of the goblins there, or pass a dialogue check to gain entry. In any case, you want to make your way to center of town to find the waypoint.
Once you’re there, turn around to the west and you will see a well next to a large tree on a stone boulder. This well is interactable and it’s actually the entrance to the Whispering Depths dungeon.

After interacting with the well and choosing some dialogue options, you will be able to jump into the well. This plops you down at the start of the Whispering Depths dungeon. I recommend you at least be level three before trying to navigate this dungeon. There are level 3-5 spiders littered throughout the area and they will be difficult to beat, especially for those on Tactician difficulty.

At the end of the dungeon, there is a final boss, who goes by the name Phase Spider Matriarch. She is a bulking, blue spider who can poison you, hatch eggs with new spider enemies, and ensnare you in a web.
So, have fun with all of that in the Whispering Depths dungeon now that you know where to find it in Baldur’s Gate 3.
