Week 8 has arrived in Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 7 and that means new Alien Artifacts will soon be placed on the island. While they haven’t yet officially gone live, data-miners found where all five will be located. The Artifacts traditionally release on Thursday of each week but sometimes Epic Games frees them a day or two earlier. As such, it’s wise for players to know where they are as soon as possible.
Like every other week, the Week 8 Alien Artifacts have already been found. They’re spread across the island as usual and are used to upgrade the Kymera skin from the Battle Pass. Once players have enough of the Artifacts, they can choose a specific style for Kymera to don in-game. To ensure players have as many choices as possible, they should find all five Alien Artifacts each week.
The Week 8 Alien Artifacts in Fortnite
There are five total Alien Artifacts on the map this week in Fortnite Season 7. Each Artifact gives players four for their Kymera skin, so if all five are collected a grand total of 20 will be added to the inventory. This is a good bit and can be increased each week if players look in Cosmic Chests.
However, before that, players should find all of the Alien Artifacts. Below, players can see the locations of all five in Week 8 of Fortnite.
To capture each Artifact, players must interact with it when prompted. Holding the interact button will add the object to the player’s inventory for Kymera. They can then move on to every other until they’ve collected all five. Once this happens, players will have to wait until Week 9 to collect a new set of Artifacts in Fortnite.
