How to find Silver Keys in Palworld

Open all the chests you want

Have you ever been wandering across the map in Palworld and stumbled upon a chest out in the open? Chances are, you went over to open the chest and get some free gold, food, or other rare resources. While some chests will open with no problem in Palworld, others require a Silver Key to see what’s inside.

Silver Keys have one primary use in Palworld, and it’s to open specific chests. These chests usually have a red glow to them and are colored white and gold. It can be quite annoying to not know what you would have gotten from opening the chest, so today I’m going to show you exactly how to find Silver Keys in Palworld.

The easiest and most common way to acquire a Silver Key is by defending your base against Raids. Whether it’s a Raid by some Syndicate Thugs or the attention-seeking Lovanders, any Raid that happens and is successfully fought off by you and your Pals rewards you with a Silver Key. You’ll also likely get a Copper Key and potentially multiples of each key as well.

Unfortunately, there are no ways to trigger Raids in Palworld, so you’ll have to be patient and wait for them to happen. You can maximize your chances of seeing a Raid by making your base larger and establishing more bases. Just be careful you don’t have the Raids turned off in the custom settings of your world.

The other way to go about getting Silver Keys is by defeating a Pal called Leezpunk. Leezpunk, and its other form Leezpunk Ignis, have a chance to drop a Silver Key when they are captured or killed. Leezpunk is a Dark-type that’s fairly easy to battle, but they can be a high level depending on where you go.

Speaking of, you can find both Leezpunk and Leezpunk Ignis in the volcano region at the southwest corner of the map in Palworld. Leezpunk Ignis also spawn in the smaller volcano region on the northeastern side of the map. Whenever you travel to either of these areas, make sure you’re wearing some form of Heat Resistant armor, otherwise, you’ll burn up just stepping foot into the areas.

Aside from those two methods, there are currently no other known ways of getting Silver Keys in Palworld.
