Lakeside Crystal Cave is a hidden location in Elden Ring that helps you complete a quest while also giving you the chance to earn some nice rewards. This cave is located in the Liurnia region of the Lands Between, but many players are struggling to find its opening. Luckily, there’s a foolproof route that will ensure you can access the cave and explore what’s inside.
If you’re looking to find the other half of the Haligtree Medallion, or just explore a new cave, Lakeside Crystal Cave should be your next stop. If you’ve looked on interactive Elden Ring maps, you’ll notice the cave appears to be on a southwestern isle in Liurnia. However, if you try to go there, you’ll find no such cave. Below, you can find the actual location of Lakeside Crystal Cave in Elden Ring.
Finding Lakeside Crystal Cave in Elden Ring
To start, you want to head to the Site of Grace on the lake called Folly. This is in the first part of the lake and can be discovered early on during your time in Liurnia. Once there, you need to head due west until you reach a three-rock formation on the world map. Once there, go into the middle of those rocks and look south. From there, you can see where the Site of Grace and rock formation are on the map below.
Once you’re looking south from where the rocks are, you should see a cave opening. This opening will lead you to a Site of Grace and the entrance to Lakeside Crystal Cave.
If you’ve made it inside, look out for a fair few enemies, along with some treacherous terrain. At the end of the cave, after defeating the area boss, you will find a woman holding a wolf and another Site of Grace. Talk to this woman if you have one side of the Haligtree Medallion. If you don’t, hit the Site of Grace and then look for a valuable item on the steps of the shack you’re inside of.
