Black Augurite is an evolution stone that can be found buried in the Crimson Mirelands. You’ll need to ride Ursaluna around while you follow her tracker in order to dig it up. We found Black Augurite on the fifth try when hunting down treasure. There are other ways to find the stone, but this is the easiest and most reliable way.

Turning Scyther into Kleavor with Black Augurite

A few Scyther will be wandering around near the area where you first fight Kleavor in the Obsidian Heartlands. Scyther found just outside the Grandtree Arena will be between Level 14 and 16.

Once you’ve got a Scyther of your own head to the menu to manage your Pokémon team. Navigate to the Black Augurite and select the “use” option. Scyther’s Poké Ball should light up, meaning they’re ready to evolve. Enjoy your new Kleavor.

Kleavor is one of the many Pokémon that require a specific item in order to evolve. Various stones and items needed for evolution, including the Linking Cord that lets you evolve Haunter into Gengar, can be purchased from the Item Exchange in Jubilife Village near the Team Galaxy headquarters. You’ll need to collect various lost satchels, which are dropped by other players in their games, in order to earn enough merit points to purchase items from the Item Exchange.
