There are plenty of flying mounts to choose from in Palworld, but one of the more underrated options is Beakon, the pure Electric-type.
Beakon isn’t a particularly strong end-game Pal, but it’s certainly a serviceable one for the mid-game. Moreover, it’s a fast flying mount with a great Partner Skill, which adds electric damage to your attacks while mounted. If you’re curious about catching Beakon in Palworld, you can check out my guide to see exactly where to find it on the map.
Finding Beakon in Palworld and how to catch it
For starters, Beakon does have an Alpha form on the map, which is located toward the west side of the map, just outside of the volcano region. If you head southwest from the central desert region with Alpha Anubis, you’ll eventually find the level 29 Alpha Beakon.
However, if you want to find Beakon in a more traditional sense, you’ll have to make your way to the larger desert biome to the northeast of the map. At the very top of the desert region, Beakons spawn in high numbers, so finding one shouldn’t be an issue. Just remember to bring proper heat-resistant armor before venturing into the desert, otherwise, you’ll burn up immediately.
You can see all of its spawn points on the map screenshot below:
Once you manage to find a Beakon, it will likely be around levels 35-39, so make sure you’re prepared for a fight with that level. As Beakon is an Electric-type Pal, you want to bring Ground-type Pals or have Ground attacks ready, which deal super-effective damage. After you have damaged Beakon enough and gotten its HP low, you can start throwing spheres at it.
I recommend using a Hyper Sphere to make the capture process as easy as possible, but you can also throw Giga Spheres if you’re low on hypers.
And that’s everything you need to know about finding and catching Beakon in Palworld. If you’re looking for a stronger Electric-type, you can check out my previous guide on breeding Grizzbolt.
