How to emote in Once Human

When playing a game like Once Human, it’s critically important that you know how to express yourself in different situations. Learning how to emote is crucial! Also, there are those camera riddle spots where you can earn rewards for certain emotes.

Anyway, here’s how to emote in Once Human, and how to set up your emotes for easy access too.

To emote, hit and hold X (default) on your keyboard, and then select “more” with your mouse if you haven’t set up your emotes yet. Release the X key and you’ll be able to choose an emote from all the ones your character has access to.

If you’ve found a camera riddle spot, simply look at the emote performed by your double, and repeat the emote back to get your reward. A loot crate will spawn which you can access with F by default. So, how do you set up your emote wheel for quick and easy access?

You’ll need to navigate to your inventory menu, so simply hit the i key on your keyboard. From here, navigate to the cosmetics tab on the far right of your screen, and switch to the expression tab.

From here, all you need to do is choose the emote you want and drag it across into the preferred slot. Once you’re done, all of the options will be available in your quick emote menu.

And that is all there is to it. Now that you know how to emote, you might want to go exploring and find some camera riddle spots to test out your new emotes. Or just impress your friends by spamming emotes — I’ve heard players love when you do that.

If you want to upgrade your build in Once Human, you might want to consider a Shrapnel build or, perhaps, a more technical Fast Gunner build.
