How to destroy equipment at satellite stations in Fortnite Season 7

A confusing Week 2 challenge turns out not to be so tough after all

While the Fortnite Season 7 Week 2 challenges went live earlier than expected, players are still stuck on a couple of tasks. One of such difficult tasks is having to destroy 15 pieces of equipment at satellite stations across the island. The other might be finding a graffiti-covered wall in either Hydro 16 or Catty Corner.

For the challenge of destroying equipment, some players have taken to simply swinging their pickaxe at an entire station. However, there’s a much more efficient way of completing this challenge, which will get players their 30,000 Battle Pass XP sooner.

The first part of this challenge is to simply find a satellite station on the Season 7 map. In total, there are seven stations that players can choose to visit. Players will likely only need to visit one, unless an enemy has come along and destroyed the equipment prior to their arrival. If this happens, they can find another site or see whether the enemy player missed any equipment.

The location of the seven satellite stations in Fortnite can be seen below.

Once players have chosen their satellite station, they must approach the office building. The equipment for the challenge mainly includes display screens, control panels, servers and computers. All that players must do is swing their pickaxe at the various pieces of technology until they’ve reached a count of 15 total items destroyed.

Of course, the game will keep track of a player’s progress. Therefore, they can continue destroying technology until the challenge is marked as complete on the HUD. Once this occurs, players can stop swinging their pickaxe and move on to the next Week 2 challenge. Players are then rewarded with 30,000 XP toward their Season 7 Battle Pass.
