How to defeat the new Morphic Crates in Once Human Season 2

The new season in Once Human has brought with it a new type of enemy that can be very hard to kill if you don’t know how. These new enemy types (I’ve only seen Morphic Crates so far), can come in one of four variations. We’ll explore each type and how to defeat them here.

How to Defeat the Void Morphic Crate

The Void Morphic Crate is immune to most damage types, as explained in my guide to the new Super Anomaly enemies in Once Human. I’ve managed to encounter one of these, and just like the description says, they’re immune to weapon damage.

However, my power surge damage on the MPS7 did manage to melt it pretty quickly. So the only way you can defeat these enemy types is by getting power surge to activate. You can also use the Unstable Bomber effect to deal damage, but other than that, you won’t be able to defeat these crates.

The only other way is through Cradle Overrides, and these only work with certain weapons. More on that in the next section.

The other crates function in a similar manner. I managed to encounter a Balance Super Anomaly as well, and as expected, my power surge build didn’t do anything here. Luckily, I’m using a DE.50, so I was able to equip the cradle override that enables pistols to do damage against Balance Morphic Crates.

This helped me to defeat this type of Morphic Crate and get the loot.

Depending on your level, you’ll have different cradle overrides available. Check what these are and be sure to keep a weapon of the types you have on you at all times, so you’ll always be able to take out these Super Anomalies.

You only need to take out the shield bar (below their health bar), after which you can damage them with anything. Be careful though, there are even stronger enemies later on, and they sometimes quickly regenerate that shield.

They do deal a lot of damage, so be careful.
